It is a great pleasure and privilege to host the fourth annual Anime Matsuri convention to promote awareness of anime and Japanese pop culture to a multitude of fans, enthusiasts, and public.

Anime, music, and cosplay are creations that may come from an idea, piece of art, a story, or a message. They are also key elements that make up an anime convention. Because of this, it is essential to design an interactive experience for individuals that would be in attendance.

Anime Matsuri is an annual spring convention celebrating not only Japanese animation, but also the well known lifestyle and cultural patterns of Japan. For our 2010 event, the objective is to bring memorable experiences to the community. By working with many talented people, volunteers, companies, artists, media groups, and guests, Anime Matsuri 2010 hopes to introduce and enhance the public and fans' knowledge about Japanese pop culture with the factor of fun. This will be achieved by delivering anime and cosplay panels and workshops, fan art, contests, cultural events, motorsports, gaming, and music concerts to all who attend. All of us who are behind the scenes are anime, music and cosplay enthusiasts at heart, and we look forward to inspiring and spreading the love of the fandom.

I am sure that Anime Matsuri 2010 will continue to demonstrate a new type of interaction with anime and Japanese pop culture. I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to all the talents and participants for their invaluable efforts toward creating our common goal.
